The Center for Law and Social Work (CLSW) provides clinical and legal services to create, protect, and strengthen families. In order to maintain quality programs and ensure that more families are able to benefit from legal and social work services, the Emerging Leaders Board will promote overall support for CLSW through philanthropic efforts and assist in raising awareness about the needs of relative caregivers and the children they care for.
The Emerging Leaders Board is comprised of graduate students, young professionals, and community leaders who are invested in ensuring that the families served by CLSW have the opportunity to get the help that they need. Membership on the board provides for opportunities to increase meaningful community engagement, cultivate leadership skills, and enhance social networking. The board strives to develop and participate in events that support the work of CLSW, but also provide our members with an opportunity to create fun social events.
The Emerging Leaders Board promotes the Center for Law and Social Work’s (CLSW) mission to create, preserve, and protect families. Members volunteer their time and talents to increase awareness, raise funds, and serve as ambassadors for CLSW.
- Minimum one-year membership commitment, with option to renew
- Annual $25 membership dues
- $200 Give or Get fundraising commitment per year (this includes solicited auction items, donations, ticket sales, etc.)
- Attend and actively participate in all ELB meetings and fundraising events.
