Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Smith is a resident of Chicago, Illinois. She currently works as a clerk for Dorothy Brown Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She is a member of the Emerging Leaders Board for the Center of Law and Social work. She attends Progressive Beulah Pentecostal Church. Elizabeth graduated from Eastern Illinois University with her degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in Health Communications and Biology.

Elizabeth has always brought awareness to and advocated for the issues of all people. In continuing her journey to be an advocate, Elizabeth is currently applying to Law School for the Fall of 2018. Maya Angelou’s quote is her personal motto it says, “I have learned a long time ago the wisest thing I can do is be on my own side, be an advocate for myself and others like me”.
